How can feedback improve skill?

In the pizza example, we need to rapidly improve the skill of a new employee to be able to quickly identify the ingredients for each of the different pizza types. If there was a PC at the branch, we could set up a game, where the name of the pizza appeared on the screen and the new member of staff had to select the various ingredients in the shortest possible time.

The game would provide instant feedback on the number of errors and the time taken to "create" 20 different pizzas. This would make learning fun as well as quickly bringing the skill level to that required.
